Gugulethu Mbatha (better known as Gugu-Mbatha-Raw) is an British film and stage actress known for her role in the film industry after she appeared in the BBC show "Doctor Who", which is a British Sci-Fi TV series. Gugu became famous for playing Tish Jones in the show on BBC. She was the sister to a main character known as Martha Jones. Gugu was set to pursue a career in acting after the audience were captivated by the vivacious and spirited personality. She also appeared in other British stage and TV productions. Handler began to do stand-up comedy full-time after she was 21. She realized she was gifted with telling stories. Handler's stand-up career began when she was part of the all-female Oxygen television cast on the hidden camera/practical comedy reality show Girls Behaving Unstably. The series ran between 2002 and 2005. Handler began appearing on other TV shows, such as Weekends at D.L., The Bernie Mac Show, The Practice and My Wife and Kids. Handler started her professional career as a reporter for The Tonight Show. Handler made her breakthrough in 2006, as she was named host on E! named The Chelsea Handler Show. The show ran for 2 seasons. Following the show, Handler performed on the Comedy Central's Hour Stand-Up Comedy Tour in the United States.
